Getting really pissed at gigs, why?

Slightly OT, but the funniest and drunkest person I've ever seen took a piss next to me years ago. He fell through the door, managed to get to his feet and over to the urinal. Supporting himself with one hand, he struggled to unzip his fly, and then had a fish around for his cock but unfortunately pulled out a bollock instead. He then pissed down his leg. It was like a car crash, I just had to watch!

I remeber seeing Xentrix at edwards no8 in birmingham on either the kin or the for whoose advantage tour. They were uncharacteristically shite, that is a gig i should have been pissed at!!!

One of the best gigs I've been to was Goblin @ the Underworld and being shitfaced was just part of the deal. Mostly, I like to have a beer or two and that's it, rock out like a warrior. However, some gigs demand a bit more of a 'party vibe'.

Yeah man. Caps, remember that Goblin/Crowning Glory gig at The Peel! That was a great level of wastedness. Taste testing white ciders on the train on the way there!

When I started going gigs I used to get fairly plastered, now a just have a good few. Worst ive been was when I went the cryptopsy/aborted/grave etc show, and I puked rather heavily and forgot my name. Was in grand centeral since about 1 o'clock and spent about £30 just on john smiths
I have a shit memory of gigs in general though, even when I havent touched a drop.

Yeah, the cheaper the better! I actually took quite a while to get pissed but by the end of Goblin I was about perfect, I just remember chating shit to Ben and him just smiling at me, his eyes saying 'when are you going to leave me alone?' Shit, journey home though, if I remember right. Cabs and ages waiting and shit.

Reading last year, wake up, Stella for breakfast, just steady drinking all day, enough to enjoy it but still remember. Got home Monday afternoon and felt bad, it was my hangover finally arriving.

I enjoy drinking when I'm at gigs (or whenever I'm out really!) Some people smoke to do something with their hands... I like to hold a pint. I used to be teetotal, and still had a blast when going out, so it's not something I have to do - I guess I just like beer.
The most pissed I've been at a gig was at Necrophagist last year - I barely remember it at all, which I'm pissed off about, since they're one of my favourite bands! Apparently I managed to take lots of photos though, and it turns out I was this close to Muhammed...

You'd think I'd remember! I do, however, remember the drummer for the support act putting his hand up my skirt
Conversely, I should have been shitfaced after 6 pints at the Masters of Death gig I went to with James, but I wasn't even tipsy... I probably should stop drinking so much but.... NAH!

Hhmm, I'm going to have to carefully monitor my exact alcohol intake at Celtic Frost/Kreator, before, during, and after...
NAH!
