I nearly pulled out in front of someone at the mini roundabout going into the Sainsbury's in Braintree! 
There was a car approaching to my left, and I could have sworn he was indicating right (to go down the road I'd come from) and therefore cut off the car waiting from the opposite side, so I went to go only to find this second car come straight across me and the first car actually turn LEFT. Luckily I slammed on the brake, and escaped with only a dirty look from the guy who crossed in front of me.
Anyway, sorry to hear the news Mort, it is so sad that a machine built in the 70s has been needlessly written off by some idiot who probably doesn't give a toss about vintage cars.
