Nah, though their first two albums were pretty much AC/DC worship and a bunch of bands that basically did the same thing are. Maybe it's because DL were one of the few to go crazy on their subsequent albums and use a drum machine.

They used one on Pyromania. I think they used an electric kit on the subsequent albums.

Let's not forget, Rick Allen was 16 when he did his first world tour. No Thrash band will ever come close to how good Def Leppard were for five years.
