2008: The Year of the Perm

Postby Metal Iain on Mon Jan 14, 2008 1:11 pm

Def Leppard opening for Whitesnake?!

Is it 1987?

NEIN!

This news is so good that the entire contents of my scrotum involuntarily vacated themselves upon its hearing. What's more it kicks off in Glasgow!

All of a sudden my day has turned from shit to gold.

Four days apparently.

No doubt this'll cost an absolute packet but I've missed Whitesnake too many times not to go to this, regardless of what it costs.

Aye!

They came hurtling out of my willy like a couple of rounds from the deck of HMS Sheffield. My urethra is all torn and bloody now. Needless to say, it stings like fuck. Still, I think it was an appropriate thing to happen given the news that Def Leppard are opening for Whitesnake.

Am I right in saying that Coverdale is the only member remaining from the 1987 line-up?? Not really worth getting excited about :?

To be fair, he was also the only member that performed on 1987 to actually make it to the 1987 tour. Vivian Campbell might get on stage to do a song with the Snakes.

Think of the joy it shall bring to the starving children of Africa!

Plus! PLUS! Doug Aldrich is shit-hot. OK, he's not John Sykes, but he looks and sounds similar.

He's not!

I just checked Wikipedia and it says its Chris Frazier. Mind you, it is Wikipedia so, fingers crossed, it's bollocks.

Oh joyous day!

When I first read the title of this thread I thought it said "2008,the year of porn"
Nevermind.
Anyway,Whitesnake, shit hot,saw them at Rock City last year.
Def Leppard are just shit.
