So - did anyone spot total guitar legend, Andy Timmons, :rockdevil: of Danger Danger, and Simon Phillips posing for a photo with our last album at Namm, on the You Tube clips???

Best wishes

Just downloaded "Suicide".

I'm 1:22 into the song Suicide and it sounds awesome already. Makes me wanna get out my Diamond Head CDs and have a NWOBHM session. :D

My only complaint is that I have to have you listed as Cynic (UK) in my iTunes as I already have the other Cynic's album Focus!

Also, what's the name of the new album?

The name of the new album will be either "Biblical Flood", (we drowned a car in the July Floods around the Midlands in July - and nearly lost one of the Protools Hard Drives with the album on), or "Suburban Crises" - Shaun is in charge of artwork and names etc.

Thanks very much for the kind words about Suicide  - Not sure what to do about the names in IPods etc - maybe nwobhm Cynic, or Thrash Cynic :P

Thanks ever so much for the kind words - its appreciated!

I wonder whether Malc Macmillan will write a new book called the Second Wave of British Heavy Metal - all those who came back, (did not go away) for round two!

Best wishes,

Tim

Each to their own. They are very different to us musically.

I know.

I was on a Cynic (US) trip, so I'm sorry if I hassled you with my unkind comment.

Now I go and get myself tortured because I was such a bad boy.

No worries mate - I had not taken any offence - I was just recognising we are all different with varied tastes - I would be surprised if any die hard Cynic US fans would like our stuff to that same degree - as we have very different genres and styles, and probably vice verca.
Hopefully we can all make a living out of playing! :rockdevil:

Man, I was joking, hahaha!
Well, even if your band is pretty cool, I still prefer the US kind of Cynic, :P

Man, I need to listen my Diamond Head LP again...
