But the early nineties was a great time for other music...

Count yourself you don't remember 1993 too well. I remember 2 Unlimited and Ace of Base basically carrying the torch for music at that point. The '90s was a bit boring to be honest. Nothing really happened as far as I can remember, apart from the Balkan Wars and the War In Chechnya.

I'd be impressed if you could take that up to 10 great albums. Besides, I wasn't into Death Metal when I was seven so 1993 still struck me as a shitty year.

Was this when they supported Motorhead? My dad was at that :) tho think that was under the townhall.

6 years old for me.

No, it was the master of puppets tour, where they were supported by Anthrax. Less than a week later, Cliff was dead

Did Metallica ever play the town hall????? I very much doubt it. I was THE metallica fan in the late 80s, and this was the first time they ever played Brum and the next time was on the and justice for all tour where they played the NEC, which is why i went to see them at sheffield, cuz the city hall is a much smaller venue. Then they were supported by danzig.

THe next time they played Brum was in '90 when they again played the NEC and they were wank. No support band just a video of themselves  . Kirk and lars started jamming Jump in the fire between songs and james said, stop playing that old shit!!!! Nob'ead!!!!
Never wasted money going to see em since, and probably never will unless it is in a smaller venue.

No your right, I just checked the ticket it was just Motorhead. It was me just misunderstanding my dad.

He says that Metallica just turned up to the gig as they were in the country, something about them flying over and a gig being cancelled with exciter?
