5 times! Shit!! I've still never seen them man. Every time they come over they do those all day things or play with slipknot or whatever and its like £40. I had a ticket to see them about 4 years ago at the astoria, but I got tonsilitis - I was gutted.

Donington this year was the 11th time I've seen them.
I quite like Slayer.

I think I've only seen 'em about five times as well.Must try harder.First time was Nottingham Rock City on the South of Heaven tour, supported by some band called Nuclear Assault.

I wouldn't even care that much. All bands have to stop at some point as eventually they will die, and Slayer's time seems to be very much approaching. Their new album was boring and passionless, and they should stop before they ruin themselves. I don't want to end up thinking of Slayer as a rubbish boring band when they have previously been one of the most wonderful bands in the world.

Anyway, if they do split up, they'll definitely do a reunion in a few years. Maybe this is just a tactic to keep people's interest in Slayer.

I was saying the same thing about another band the other day - better to quit while you are still good so that your fans will remember you as being a great band than to continue putting out shit albums and be remembered as a band who lost it and became shit.

I've seen Slayer twice so I won't be too upset if they don't tour again, although I can't see them splitting for good.

I've not seen them yet, but then again they have been my least favourite out of the big for since i got into metal.

And it is even clear to me that they have been progressively worse as time has gone on, so if they do decide to call it a day i think it might be the right decision. That is unless their next thing is mind blowing.

And one major benefit from it, is that it will get rid of the majority of the gromit kids that think they are well underground because they like Slayer.
That and the fucks that run around going "SLLLLAYYYYYAAAYYYAAYYYYAAAAAAARRRRR!"
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

I got God Hates Us All for one gbp.....
I cant really listen to the whole thing...... that cd is sucks

christ illusion actually is okay,
as least show they back to the old style
and I respect them doing that decent album.

but I never a fan of them,
the only album I like is Show No Mercy

so they split or not really makes no difference to me.....
