I have Hell Awaits, rather meh worthy for me.
I am not denying that they are a decent enough band, they just don't do anything for me. A couple of songs sure, but that is about it.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.
Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

I fell in love with Hell Awaits after just one listen. As soon as At Dawn They Sleep finished, I placed the needle back at the start of side one and and away it went again. And again.
It must have been three hours before I managed to get onto side two!

is that what they said, because 'no plans' isn't the same as saying 'we're not'.

I think I've seen Slayer 4 times now (Unholy Alliance II, two Downloads and a Hellfest!), and as far as I'm concerned, the last two albums kicked tits. They weren't GREAT, no, but they were energetic fucking metal and considering Slayer has been putting out excellent music non-stop for longer than I've been alive, I try to be grateful for every album that isn't St. Anger.

Well they're obviously going to retire at some point unless they've discovered the key to immortality. It just means they're not retiring at the moment.
