they could very well be fakes, the drums sound programmed using very standard samples and well... that voice...?! but saying that with metallica these days nothing is impossible unforunately. however i think its hilarious that they said "wanna hear a song off the brand new album?!!" and now they aren't even going to use them. but to be honest, yes it is a good thing, although these songs for me were a step back in the right direction, lets just hope they have some great things lying wait... well expect the impossible with metallica and you'll never or always be disapointed.

Yeah, no point crying about someone doing a bad album. I've been waiting for the new down album for five years+ and it came it was dogshit, I just listened to the other 947 tunes on my ipod instead! No big deal.

They gave up months of thier life making an album, I gave up 3/4 of an hour to listen to it for free, thier loss not mine.
