Got my V back today with Custom Warpigs (Ceramic in the bridge and an alnico in the nexk but voice more like a Cold Sweat) with coil taps.

Sounds F*cking brutal in the bridge position, huuuge tight bass and screaming highs, yet cleans up so nicely when coil tapped in the neck position.

So happy with my V now :-)

You have to remember- It serves them right for being knuckle dragging northeners.

I'm a big fan of the "Come here often?", although for gigs and other performances I tend to go for something a bit more flashy.

Im not sure all this technical stuff has the disired result. The pick-ups i use are these:
Do you sleep on your stomach? [any answer] Can I?
Have you ever kissed a rabbit between the ears? (Pull your pockets inside out....) Would you like to?
I must expel some seminal fluid. May I use your body?
and the best of all:
I've got a great big cock!

My pickup choice varies from guitar to guitar. Iv got the EMG active 81, 85 set in my Les Paul Custom. At first i wasnt the biggest fan of active pickups but the tonal possibilities are great with them, they sound so crisp and clear and far better than the shady 'HZ' Emg's that u get as standard on alot of metal axes these days! HZ's sound shit. On my Ibanez Rg, its more traditional humbuckers, seymour duncan Invader on the bridge and a duncan distortion on the neck, amazing for thrash, although the invader was fitted when i was playing for a death metal band so i can be a bit muddy sounding at times :wall: But none the less, its loud as fuck and great for slower groove type riffs! The other set i use is fender noiseless pickups on my strat, just good quality rock and roll pickups there and thats all that can be said really.
Clearly im more built than you.
