Oh yeah, I knocked myself unconcious when I fell off my bike and smacked my head on a pavement edge.
And when I went to smack my mother with a lightsaber on the bus trip back from Disney Land. I missed and flipped right over.

Re: Fainting
I've only ever fainted once a few years ago at home. I felt like my arse was gonna explode so I dashed to the toilet sweating and knowing I was gonna pass out, rushed my mum to get out of the bathroom. She came out and I passed out in front of her, she shat bricks!

Re: Fainting
I thought I was close to fainting after I had a blood test once. I'm no poof, and have no fear of needles - I actually sat there watching the needle go in and the blood coming out of my arm.
Afterwards, I was sat in the carpark waiting for my life home when everything went really fuzzy, and my hearing went strange - like I was underwater. Then I barfed and felt fine again.

Re: Fainting
I could have sworn it was "feinted" or feignted" or something but now I've written it it just looks retarded.
Anyway it's not really fainting but I got knocked out a couple of months ago when my mate pushed me off a curb in a shopping trolley and I fell and landed pretty much on my head and right shoulder. It must have really hurt but luckily I don't remember it at all. Aparently I just laid lifeless in the road bleeding from my mouth. He thought I was dead and called an ambulance then chatted up the female ambulance woman while we sat in the back for an hour or so. They wouldn't let us get a cab home and made him call my house to get someone to pick us up, when my mum arrived she saw me standing in the road next to an ambulance having a piss, at 2am, on a work night. The next day my dad said he'd kick me out if I did anything like it again. I learnt my lesson.

Oh yeah I've made myself actually faint a few times...
You know sometimes when you stand up and your head goes all fuzzy and your vision kind of gets taken up by all these fuzzy swirly patterns, well when that happens just take a big breath in and hold it, you'll wake up on the floor a few seconds later with an achy head. I haven't done that for ages.

Re: Fainting
The only time i came close to fainting was at reading festival where i ended up going to see BFMV.... (justify it with i hadnt seen a band all saturday and i thought i best go see atleast one and only fucking metal band on the day) ... well it happened to have a fucking insane pit, pyro in the big tent thing and well i just went mental in the pit for the whole thing and after spending the whole day not eating and drinking beer i got outside when it finished, found my freinds who wer talking to these random people they had met, posed for a photo and then collapsed on the floor lol. I think it was the fact it was so fucking hot and i probs took a few knocks to the head where people had collided....
Well next thing i remeber this random guy they had met (who had an amazing beard) picked me up off the floor and has me above his head shouting "my friend of metal ..you must awake....WHO WOULD WANTS HIM" ... I was like, "put me the fuck down lols"

I want to faint now.
I imagine the disorientation to be like if you fall asleep during the day, wake up a bit later on and dont know what time it is or what's on the telly.
Something like that.
Have you ever had a general anaesthetic? Recovering from fainting is basically the same as regaining consciousness from that - your vision slowly returns like everything is coming into focus from a bright white light, and sounds also slowly return to your ears. You can't really tell how much time has passed, but in most cases I don't think you're actually passed out for very long.
When I fainted after the cycle race, I woke up sitting on a chair with one of the scout leaders in front of me - his face gradually appeared in front of me and I started to hear his voice talking to me.
At the uni clinic I woke up leaning forward being propped up by the nurse - I probably got some boob action without even knowing about it

On the bog I woke up looking at the ceiling above the cubical, so nothing to report there.
