I agree with Feemo.
I remember being on Codeine in hospital. It completely blurred my vision to the extent that I couldn't read anything, no matter how close I looked at something. Great.

Ive never taken painkillers etc other tahn for pain, never noticed any desirable effects to most either. Except when I was in traction with a broken femur and had morphine on demand, that shit was good, felt like I was just sinking into my bed then floating...... awesome!

Morphine was great for a while, as was the clicker. Eventually it made me throw up though, I clicked too much.

Mine was rigged up for two clicks per ten minutes. I was clicking it thrice a minute or so so they took it away. It was shit because I was in searing death-pain and couldn't speak because I had a ventilator in.

yeah I had the clicker and got it taken away eventually too, was a cunt, I'll never forget the pain of waking up and rolling over only to realise I couldnt really roll as I had a steel bar through my bone connected to weights!

Nasty shit hospitals seem to be torture palaces at times. That said, apart for the pain etc, I quite enjoyed my hospital stay although I think I must be radioactive after all the X-rays I had. I had to have two folders for them as there were so many!

I loved being in hospital. I was in and out of them for about four years but really miss just lying around being cheeky and eyeing up juggsy nurses. Making students nurses cry and reconsider their career of choice was also mildly amusing.

Exeter hospital was bloody lovely, they gave me freakin' Turkey Dinosaurs! Rarrrr!
And I got a major operation on my ruined broken leg the morning after I broke it (Didn't get to the hospital till about 9pm)

Turkey Dinosaurs are great. The woman at the check-out in Iceland laughed at me when I bought Malt Loaf, Turkey Dinos and Vinegar. I should have slapped her there and then but, in hindsight, I think it was just glaringly obvious that I was an incompetent student.

Nah because I relied on Iceland heavily towards the end of my time as a student. They always have great deals on booze and you can get fucking horrible but cost-effective food there.
