This thread seems the perfect opportunity to say how fucking incredible Motley Crue were at Download last weekend.
I wasn't expecting too much but they went and blew most other, so-called heavier bands off completely the stage.

I thought you were Trance.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Did you know that Mic, the current drummer for crusty grindcore band EXTREME NOISE TERROR and death metal maniacs DESECRATION used to play drums for Tigertailz?? I think he is also in the new reformed line up at the moment too.

I met that guy (Mick? Mike?) at the Severe Torture/Evile show a while back, he was a fucking lovely bloke and an amazing drummer too. He also plays in a thrashy band called Neckbrace? too.

Forgot about those bands. For me it'd be Faster Pussycat's "Babylon" and Love/Hate's "Why Do You Think They Call It Dope".
Saw Faster Pussycat support Guns N Roses at Manchester Apollo just as "Appetite" came out in late 87/early 88. Faster Pussycat were much tighter on stage. Mind you, GNR were completely wasted.
