I was watching Room 101 on Virgin 1 last night and the word midget was bleeped out. I don't understand has midget become so offensive you cant say it?

Haven't you seen the first episode of South Park series 11? Some serious lessons to be learnt there.

The worst I've noticed recently was episodes of the Simpsons on T4. I was watching the one where Marge and Homer try to get their love life back on track but words like 'pervert' were cut. The same going for Lenny saying, 'She's got legs from here to ya-ya!' Whilst I can understand certain things being cut from the Simpsons at that time of day - Groundskeeper Willy saying 'shite', for example - I think cutting out words like 'bastard' and 'pervert' is just taking things too far.

South Park gets it much worse from MTV, though. Obviously they cut 'fag' but they're unreasonable enough to cut 'retard' and other words that, on their own, are hardly devastatingly offensive. It's more ridiculous still in South Park's case because, on top of its own disclaimer that runs before every episode, MTV adds a second disclaimer. Bearing in mind that South Park is never shown before 9pm, I think it's a complete piss-take.

im surprised "turbanator"(a dig at the indian guy on the moped)wasnt cut from only fools and horses when it was on the dave channel the other week.
not that i wanted it cut,but with all the p.c gone mad bollocks im surprised the sikh fanatics or whoever havent been burning replica david jason dummies outside the channels headquarters.
