I would have thought that was obvious by now,

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Bah, I was looking at Heretic's metal archives page written by Martin himself and was surprised to see the words "Thrash Metal" under genre.
Sort it out.

Martin, ot of interest, why did you chose to latch onto the thrash metal scene and not the death metal scene?

Because James approached me after finding us on Myspace and told me what he had planned for UK Thrash and I saw it as an opportunity to get easy promotion i.e. with magazine articles etc. I don't think we're heavy enough to be classed as death metal either, there's a lot of snobbery among DM concerning things such as a how fast or 'brutal' a band is and as we're not extreme in either of those ways, I thought it'd be much better to be viewed as an extreme thrash band, rather than a whimpy death metal band.
