Yeah, if you're into stealing music from small-time artists who are struggling to make ends meet that place is great.

I asked if they would consider removing the new releases section, or our album and they refused.

Orrr, if you're into listening to really obscure albums that are damn near impossible to get hold of on any format for cheap, that haven't been in print for over 20 years, then it's pretty good, oh and also the demos section is awesome!!!

But yeah, I see the point you're making (and Gamadudes), and I don't think it's fair that these new thrash bands are having their debuts (often self-released or partially/fully self-financed releases) uploaded onto there for the 'real' thrash fans to download and 'collect' the mp3s of it... I don't have any mp3 of new albums that I don't own on cd, and I would never put them onto thrashmageddon!!! There's a line between sharing stuff that 's never gonna be released again (so sharing actually increases the bands 'legacy'), and sharing brand new releases of upcoming bands who haven't even got a foothold on the metal 'scene'

This is very true.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

I dont agree! I believe downloading helps new bands too. Some new bands I only know cuz someone uploaded their stuff. Also dont forget that not all people have a privelege even to buy stuff either their broke like me or live fuck knows where. If my band will ever take off ill myself upload the goddamn cd online, giving back to the comunity, like tape exchange back in the day only now its digital.
