According to sky news motorcycle stuntman Evel Knievel has died at his home in Florida aged 69. what a bummer, this dude was a true maniac and was a big hero of mine when i was a kid. :(

Liver failure as far as i can gather. Was a bit of a legendary boozer and had a transplant a while ago.

I used to keep an Evel Knievel scrap book when I was about five. :oops: The man was crazy, but a total hero! Any of you older lot have the stunt bike toy? A friend of mine did!

Bloody hell what a shock. Mind you at least he got to old age. I would have thought a stunt would have killed him. Just shows how good he was.
