to Camden?
I was just checking it out and like the megabus costs like £4 to get to london and would obv meen i would be able to come up for more shows etc... but how difficult/far is Victoria Coach Station (where most busses from southampton stop in london) from places like Camden.
Is it as simple as a underground ride?
Thanks

Yeah get the tube, I think you'll need to change once. There's maps here: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/1106.aspx
There's staff at every station aswell so if you get confuddled it's easy enough to get assistance.
Good luck!

yes once u reach victoria the wizard korblahk will give u the stone of emeralds which you will use to sheild yourself from the curse of mendelis, once u have recieved the stone make your way to the river and there you will fine a frail old women but be fooled not, tap her on the shoulder 2 times and poke the lower part of her back and she will turn around but dont look into her face or your soul will be sucked out!! she will tell you the directions to the stone dragon, where she tells you to go should be a river, the stone should shield you from the curse that dwells in the river, also look out for the swag orks, they will devour you instantly on site.
keep following the river and you will see a giant stone resembling the shape a dragon, place the stone of emeralds into the dragons mouth and it will point towards camden. though where it points there is no guarantee there will be a foot path so be careful. keep going in the direction that the dragon pointed and you will find yourself upon the gate of camden. beware the gate is guarded by a hideous monster known as the levrown. to kill the monster simply sing a power ballad from the 70's and his head will explode! now to open the gate, this is going to be your toughest challenge yet, on the front of the door lies a puzzle, it reads a strange puzzle, once you have figured out the pizzle shout 'done!' then an unseen entity wil appear and will ask you for the answer!! get it wrong and you will die! get it right and ten more puzzles will be bestowed upon you, if you get any of them wrong you will die and u cannot stop once you have started! so origam kid, is all of this worth it just to see some thrash metal concert?

Zurab, Zurab, Zurab.... first rule to writing a good musing is to get spelling, grammar and punctuation correct. JESUS.
Yeah, it's easy to get there, tube it all the way, I got there, and I'm from the North.

Oh come on, I enjoyed Zurab's yarn! "The Curse of Mendelis" sounds rather sinister - he is now my musings padawan.

I shall be getting a Megabus down for the next big thrash gig down there. Flying was also an option at one point cos it was cheaper than the train, but upon discovering Megabus, id rather do that.

Re: How do i get from Victoria Coach Station in London...
get victoria tube line to euston(4stops) then get off at euston and go to the opposite platform and get the northern line to camden(1 stop) this takes about 15-20 mins in total.
OR if its a purple turtle gig get the tube with the mornington crescent stop.
make sure you grab a freebie tube pocketmap at victoria as itl come in handy for alternative routes if certain lines arent operating/running.
to get back to victoria get whatever tubes(pick a route)from camden to embankment before 11.30-11.50 ish then from embankment to victoria(3 stops).
euston sometimes has no victoria line service after 11 but you can still get connections to embankment(usually just staying on the same tube depending which route its taking)
anyway dont panic as the night bus only takes 36mins to victoria.
NOTE:make sure you ask the driver to tell you/announce when youre at victoria(if you dont recognise it)
also just ask him every couple of stops "have we reached victoria yet?"(just to be on the safe side)
ive missed getting off at victoria twice because of no announcements(plus having my mp3 on/nattering to Spencer might have had something to do with it
)both times i/we ended up in bloody pimlico and had to backtrack/run through estates and ask for directions to get back.
also sit as near to the downstairs front of the bus as you can coz u get all kinds of pissheads/loons/retards and rudeboys/chavs getting on and off during the journey.
im not tryna make out london is scary.its just unecessary hassle and awkward if you get a bit lost/mess up with your transport etc.
youll be fine
youll probably end up going back to victoria with fellow forumers/thrashers on part of your journey.
me and Spencer always have to go to victoria to catch trains home so if were at the same gigs as you then just join us on the way to victoria.

I must say, I do enjoy our ridiculous journey to Victoria after a lovely time in Camden. It's like an epic adventure each time, especially when a strange French man gets on the bus and announces to us that he likes Gun N' Roses. Good for him.
