I was given my first major review to do, (of "the more things change", one of those full page review / article thingys), and i was TOLD to make it a good review, as Roadrunner had made it a priority release, and had booked X amount of advertising in MH for it over the next few issues!!! As i knew i wasnt a big fan of the band, i said maybe they should give it to someone else, but got a load of abuse (bear in mind i wasnt being paid for writing for them!!). I did actually tell the reviews editor to (and i quote) "take your heavy metal version of smash hits and stick it up your arse"!!!!

i can honestly say that i enjoy Burn My Eyes, but i wouldn't ever listen to it of my own choosing. i can enjoy it when its being played to me but thats about it, i wouldn't ever bother to put it on the stereo, there is far far too much other great things.
