When it comes to Castlevania, i think the only ones I genuinely enjoyed were Super Castlevania IV, SotN and Rondo of Blood. The rest are great, but a bit too linear for me. Also, the difficulty in those earlier games make me bleed as I'm not quite as hardcore as Tom

Just as I get off my castlevania binge, Tom brings it up again. Now I have to play SotN another 40 times in a row.

Good man Jon! I'm jealous, I wish I could play through it for the first time again!

Dave, you should give The New Generation a go, the difficulty isn't that bad and it's not as crushingly frustrating as Dracula X or Dracula's Curse.

The Gameboy title, Belmont's Revenge is awesome too.

Ahhh emulation just isn't the same though. Also, I'm a complete Randy Marsh when it comes to computers!

I want a decent usb controller so I can emulate whilst I lay in bed and wallow in my self loathing.

Any suggestions? Something inexpensive ideally and either a long cable of wireless/bluetooth.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

From what I've been told, almost anything is worth getting as USB controllers tend to be of an all-round decent quality across the board. I could be misinformed of course, I'm not really a PC player.

Get the prawn cocktail ones, they have rapid fire functionality.

Billy, I'm also searching for a good USB controller (either an Xbox or PS one) so please let me know if you find one and I shall do the same!

Oh yeah, I use a Mac, do you think it will need to be compatible?

Most likely, this is the age of plug and play.

I'll keep my eyes open, I've been considering converting a SNES pad over to USB but I'm not certain if I'd miss the mushrooms of doom.

I'm using a USB SNES pad given to me by none other than our own RADRIK! It's great for the 16-bit games but playing RE2 with a D-Pad is pretty painful!

That's the problem, all controllers are different. Playing Playstation titles on a SNES pad for example would be impossible with some games.
