I don't think he's totally wack, but he's far from the best man on earth, and I still err more towards No than Yes, so it's a No. I can enjoy his mid-range voice a bit more now though. I still think his falsetto's rubbish I'm afraid.

King Diamond, to put it as politely as I possibly can, is a cunting genius. The only band / artist / human ever to make me give a shit about lyrics. The way he tells the stories, and the characters and concepts in general, is flawless. From the moment I hired 'Conspiracy' on cassette from my local library in '89, and the realisation that there was a horror story behind all this that needed unravelling, I was hooked.

If me and my girl ever have a daughter, she will be named Abigail, in salute of the second greatest album ever recorded in the history of time. I would prefer it, however, if she doesn't follow suit become a murderous spirit after being having her stillborn corpse impaled on a coffin lid.

If you don't get KD, I feel sorry for you. But the less people who appreciate The King, then the more elite I can feel about being one of the ones who does fully understand. Mad respect to my brothers and sisters in this category.

If I was a screaming woofter, I would bum The King really firmly.
