FUTURAMA

I got Benders Game today, while there was some very fun moments, i don't think it was as good as the other movie, which haven't been as amazing as the series's...but Futurama is an awesome show and is 1000% better than Family Guy!

I do love Futurama. The first 3 seasons were awesome but I don't think season 4 was as good and I've not seen the films yet. I've gone off Family Guy though lately, it doesn't seem to be as funny as it used to be. I'm hooked on South Park at the minute.

Futurama, as GB correctly pointed out, is awesome. I would actually rate it the highest out of the animated series I like because it has the lowest proportion of shit episodes. Even comparing it to Family Guy is out of order. One is well thought out, well scripted and features well developed characters; the other is Family Guy.

As for Bender's Game. It's just not funny. Like the two other films thus far, it has had unmistakably 'Futurama' aspects to it but they've just not been the same as the original series. I thought getting cancelled was quite a good thing to happen to Futurama because there had been so few poor episodes. Now the idiots that be have resurrected it and put out sub-par films.

Gay.

I wouldn't go that far. The only drawback of the Simpsons is that, of the 400 or so made, 150 have been worth watching.

True true. Simpsons used to be awesome, but the new ones are all shite. After around episode 200 it just went downhill big time.

Was that the U2 episode?

It bugs me that so few people know how to judge an episode of the Simpsons. It's quite simple really: all you have to do is compare it to Homer At the Bat (the softball episode). That's probably my favourite episode of all time. Last Exit to Springfield (the one when Homer is made President of the union) is up there too.

And the Cape Fear Sideshow Bob episode is a real bloody classic too. All the rakes. I love it.

So I'm not the only one who doesn't rate Family Guy? Good, I have taste.

Yeah, it can be pretty pants. It has made me laugh a lot on occasion, especially during series' 2-4, but there's never any depth there, or any proper stories you can actually get into, just a load of silliness. Futurama is bloody great, much better.

Pretty much what Jon said, the writing standards on Futurama are miles better.

Though the new film was pretty unfunny, which is a shame.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.
