yeah so i just got photoshop cs3 extended ( illegally cause im 'ard and broke). so any of you guys use photoshop and could write some valuable insight to each other and experience using it. Also people should post up pics that they have made/altered with photoshop which would be really cool aswell.

I don't really do that much in photo shop, but i had to make some panorama photos from videos one year at uni.




Though i actually use GIMP as i'm a Linux user so its free, but there are plenty of good online help videos on youtube. Also look into getting after effects as well, its like photoshop for videos.

i know quite a lot about photoshop, if you need any help just give me a shout.

Personally I find PhotoShop an absolute arse to use. All of my graphics stuff is done on Fireworks, been using Fireworks since it was made by Macromedia, went from Fireworks MX 2004 to Fireworks 8 to CS3. Not looked into CS4 yet.

I can't give any advice about Photoshop specifically but just give it time and experiment with different effects, settings, filters etc. It's been a while since I did any "proper" graphics stuff though.
