More new Megadeth tracks

There's a stream of an Australian metal radio show that played two more new songs, 'Never Walk Alone' and 'Pray For Blood'. What can I say about them.... meh. I don't know, they're okay, but not great. Never Walk Alone is basically Vortex from Cryptic Writings but with a shitty radio-friendly chorus, and Pray For Blood is ok, but quite boring. There are some nice riffs, and the production is good from what I can tell (it is Andy Sneap I suppose and he is a man of nice), but it just sounds like a very much watered-down Megadeth. It's very average and sometimes quite good, but there's nothing more I can say than that really... What does everyone think of these new tracks?

Haven't heard yet, but Sleepwalker is pretty good.

its not very memorable stuff really and dosnt do them any more justice than what recent albums have, it just isnt really megadeth anymore

the last megadeth album recorded that was outstanding is cryptic writings and from then on they have seemed to slide away from any classics :cry:

Though i met James LoMenzo at last years London guitar show and had a massive chat with him cause no one really knew who he was he. He was a great guy, he also said that the album should of came out last sepetember lol

left the other track, itd be nice to hear summin new on the album..

Indeed, though even Cryptic Writings had its boring moments. But it made up for them with Vortex, which is amazing, and She-Wolf, which is almost amazing but very amazing on Rude Awakening. Oh yes and Trust, that's good too.

But all I want really is a thousand Hangar 18s. Or at least something that's actually very fast and quite angry and just basically good. I think that's the main problem really, Dave just isn't angry anymore. The whole Iraq thing doesn't count, everyone's angry and moaning about that. Dave needs to get really, really angry about something and then go wild with his guitar with some fucking passion! What he doesn't need to do is write a song called 'Amerikastahn' or whatever that stupid title is.

its just not classic megadeth anymore. i understand they are trying to update the sound but thats no reason to not play killer thrash in the vein of rust in peace anymore!
