Any albums that you think are especially Summer? Old ones, new ones. Thrash ones, folk ones. And all in between.
I'll start with just five off the top of my head:
Megadeth - Rust in Peace. I don't know why. It's a good all-year round-er really but I just love being in a park with this playing. I guess, it's just the way it's always been.
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti. So many classics but Down by the Seaside, In my Time of Dying and The Wanton Song are pure Summer. Also, there was an immortal intro from a radio show to Trampled under Foot when I had a Summer holiday in the US. Excellent times.
Street Sweeper Social Club - S/T. Not a life changing album by any means but there is a whole lot of good funky, bass-heavy vibes. Basically, this Tom Morello and a rapper called Boots Riley (of The Coup). Structurally simple but some definite good Summer songs.
Them Crooked Vultures - S/T. I know it was largely panned on here but there are some really cool songs on it and it has plenty of cool lazy-Summer tracks as well as the odd upbeat number. Definite potential Summer joy.
Clutch - Strange Cousins from the West. All latter day Clutch (pretty much all Clutch) is good Summertimes. This being their latest, and the only one I haven't lost, has good potential.
Two others quickly - Kyuss 'Welcome to Sky Valley' and Jethro Tull 'Aqua Lung'.
This year two others I plan to get, check and probably enjoy (besides any recommendations on here) are:
William Elliott Whitmore - Animals in the Dark (sort of American country-blues-folk stuff)
The Coup - Party Music (maybe) Definitely getting a Coup album. Wicked Summer hip-hop.
And you?

Oh, and Pentagram - First Daze Here. That's well nice in the Summer time (but is another all-year round-er)

Pearl Jam - Ten
Mainly the song Release sticks out on this one. Just sat out like 3 or 4 years ago having BBQs and blasting this album in the sun and just chilling like.
Blue Cheer - Vincebus Eruptum
Opening song is Summer Time Blues so enough said there really. It's just got that summer of love vibe and it feels dead free.
Blue Cheer - Outsideinside
What can I say? A large majority of like album was recorded outside in the sun and the acoustics of this album really give off that vibe. It's great!
And here's this years summer soundtrack for me!!
Tame Impala - Innerspeaker
Assemble Head In Sunburst Sound - When Sweet Sleep Returned

That and Pentagram does fine for me. Bit of Tankard is always nice as well, but I'm pretty much going to stick Vol. 4 on repeat and relax.

Colour Haze - Colour Haze
Siena Root - Different Realities
Plus of course you have the Palm Desert bands like Brant Bjork and the bros, Kyuss, Yawning Man, Fu Manchu
I also find Rust In Peace to have a summer album feel about it, maybe as I bought it one summer and played it to death

Re: Summer music
Fleet Foxes are perfect for sunshine joy. Such joyous loveliness and niceness. A very sunny band indeed.
Also AC/DC, Back In Black in particular. Have A Drink On Me is just the most perfect summer dirnking song. Yes, dirnking.
Also The Beatles, many albums really, but Abbey Road, how lovely.
I'm sure I'll be listening to lots of Thin Lizzy too this summer!
