...But something purporting to be a demo of the new Metallica album has landed in Internet Land.
Actually, after listening to it, I'm actually fairly certain it isn't them (Sounds like JH's voice for the most part but the guitar solos sound fuck all like KH).
Only one way to find out though. Go hunt it down and listen for yourselves.

False alarm. Apparently, it's definitely not Metallica but some band called Eternal Decision. A christian metal band it seems.

As long as it's not that version of Battery with 'Mustaine' on vocals. The number of times I've had to tell people in the pub it's not real is now beyond estimation.

This was all over the Torrent sites like a bad rash a month ago. I'm not sure the band got the right type of press they had planned on. Everyone was panning them, saying that it was shit and they were frauds. *Cringe*

That Eternal Decision = Metallica thing has been around for fucking years, since pre-St. Anger!!!!! y'all are n00bs!!!!

Does it have the song 'Hunger' on by any chance? That was around on Limewire as 'Megadeth + Metallica' since I've been listening to metal!!! :lol:

i too found that song when i first got into metal

alsoooo... since this is now WELL relevant to the thread, does anyone have any of those other 'Metallica' songs from Limewire that were around when St. Anger was coming out?? I remember there was about 3 different bands doing the rounds... but I lost my mp3s long time... anyone know any more about these songs other than the Eternal Decision one???
