Apparently Bruce had to get pissed before he felt comfortable enough to sing those lyrics!

phodg (if that's your REAL name) always come on this board and makes me feel like a dick for the lack of gigs I've been to, especially the ones I couldn't have gone to because I was about seven. Seriously sir, do you have to rub it in our faces that you've been to every quality gig since Earth changed their name to Black Sabbath and probably before?!

Anyway, Powerslave rules it for me. The title track is so addictive and that chrous! Also, Losfer Words, Aces High and Two Minutes. It's also really consistent, a factor that lacks from Number o' the Beast (though it is quality).

Yes, that is the correct answer. It also contains the fourth best title track in the history of title tracks. (The first three obviously being 10,000 Days, Lateralus and Deliverance.)

And then it goes... Brave New World (the best comeback album in history), Piece of Mind, Powerslave, Iron Maiden, No. of the Beast, Somewhere In Time, Killers, A Matter of Life and Death, Dance of Death, Fear of the Dark, No Prayer for the Dying, Virtual XI, The X Factor.

Though A Matter of Life & Death must be given extra credit for The Legacy which is maiden's best song since Seventh Son.

Thank you.

Has to be Iron Maiden for me, it all went a bit too poncey after Killers for my tastes. Not to say i don't like certain tracks of the other albums (Aces High, Flight Of Icarus etc).

Just didn't like the tone as much.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

'Iron maiden' and 'Killers' for me simply because of Di'anno's vocals and the rawness of the production. I really like Bruce's vocals, but you can't beat the early stuff. My fave albums with him are probably 'Number Of The Beast', 'Powerslave' & 'Brave New World'. Didn't like Blaze's vocals though...

Iron Maiden, that album is so blood raw sounding, the songs are good as well. but i think then killers let them down big time.

Second favourate would be a choice between Somewhere in time, Piece of mind or Seventh son, all three are good albums.

No Prayer would be a good album if it did not have the annoying Tailgunner. That has to be probally the worst maiden song i have heard. It is so bloody repetitive.

Old age can be a real pain, your older relatives keep dying,it gets harder and harder to get out of bed every morning and everything seems so much more expensive. But on the up side you get to tell people that you saw Maiden on the world piece tour in 1983.
Powerslave for me,bought it the day of release(well my dad fetchted it for me,I was at school) and the world slavery tour was fantastic.

Saw Dio with Queensryche on the "Last in line "tour as well :D
