The sound was really good I thought, you could hear everything without really need plugs. I don't why the sound at that venue is so variable - I wish all bands sounded so good.
They played mostly old (pre-Necroshine) stuff: Bastard Nation, Horrorscope, etc. They did open with Necroshine though and threw in a couple of more recent songs later in the gig. (To my shame I did accidentally shout "hammer slammer" at one point instead of "hammer head"

) The War Pigs singalong was very cool... transcontinental metal heritage I guess! Don't know if they do it all the gigs, or just in Sabbath's homeland.
They looked buff for a bunch of old dudes, perhaps their tour budget doesn't extend to pies. They must have had their own lighting, with mini-spots arranged in and around the equipment. The sickly Overkill yellow/green was perfect!
Nice to see a band who knows what they're doing, with stage presence. This was no lazy cash-in reunion tour, you could tell these guys do this for a living and aren't tired of it.
