The life changers for me were the first two that I heard. Eighth grade, 1986, had just moved to Florida from New Mexico, and I was getting in to Dokken, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, etc. I starting eating lunch with a skater kid who let me borrow MASTER OF PUPPETS and AMONG THE LIVING, and that day changed my life forever...

Demolition Hammer "Epidemic of Violence"

Probably the single most agressive, heaviest, most destructive thrash album EVER. Or at least, I haven't even heard anything that comes close. I think stuff like darkness descends tucks its tail between its legs and runs when that album rears its ugly head.

That album is fucking intense, I prefer the debut though, it's got more edge.. or something.. but DEMOLITION HAMMER!!!!!

Something changed with me when this popped through the door attached to the front of my monthly Skateboard magazine in 1988.



I fell out of favour with standard thrash for a few years to go down the Carcass, Napalm Death, Repulsion etc route.

Started with old AC/DC, eventually moved onto Maiden, eventually moved onto Anthrax and Metallica, eventually moved onto Carcass Napalm Repulsion, eventually moved onto Dark Throne bla bla bla. It's just something you do when your a kid till you find your musical feet. I never fell out with thrash, I just listened to death metal more so, then so on. So guess what I listen to most these days?

forget what i said there. The album that changed my lifw would have been Megadeth's Peace sells. A girl from school lent me the album and it blew me away. It was the newest megadeth album at the time. Still love that album today.

Yep, picked that DVD up last year, was a bit disapointed with the live footage to be honest, its all seated so no mad pits or stagedives etc. However, the documentary is worth the price alone! I love DD's rant about people who listen to non-metal music haha.

Nope, she was hot though, and older as well. I would have fucked her if i had the chance. but i was a very dhy person at the time.
