Just heard the new version of ATLM from a radio show and it's a piece of radio friendly watered down shit. The rest of the album looks killer.
I'll stick a link up if anyone's interested.

Enjoy (I didn't).
From United Abominations. It was orginally going to be a b-side but it's replacing Out On The Tiles.
Guesting Mrs Scabbia.
Remember it's a radio rip. Which is why i'm going to give it a second chance when the album comes out.

After reading this, I had a dream that night about Megadeth. I saw them live (in my dream, I still haven't seen them in real life) and it wasn't very good, but when they played Hangar 18 it was amazing. Then I listened to Megadeth all day the next day (we're back in real life now) and it was amazing (I only listened to Peace Sells/So far, So Nice, So Lovely/Rust In Piss, the best ones - I've only got Killing Is my Business and Business is Nice on my PC at home). I then played some bass along to some of Rust In Peace, something I hadn't done for ages, and proceeded to ruin my left arm and make it all horrible and stiff after attempting to play Rust In Peace... Polaris, the most bloody ridiculous song ever. That whole end section made me want to cry very much. Bloody hell! That's what you get for not practising your instrument properly.
Back to the topic in question though, why on earth have they recorded that song again? Iknow Dave thinks it's good (and so do I), but shouldn't they concentrate on making new songs that are actually good? Listening to Rust In Peace on full blast that day made me think about how average Megadeth have really become these days.

I am learning ATLM at the minute, it is a real fucker. I have a question for all of you who have learned to play it or are better at guitar than me (99.9999% of you) do you barre the initial shape? As i am having a tough time switching back between the last bit of the intro and the first.
Cheers in advance guys.
Oh yeah i am not barring it, sorry if i fucked up any terms but newbie and all.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

I listened to the new version of A Toute Le Nice last night, and it was shit. I quite like the song, it's quite good, not great, but quite nice, but this new version is just bloody gay. I can't think of any other word to describe it. I know it was a bit gay in the first place, but now they've just completely gayed it up. There are parts which sound quite nice and heavy due to a nice production (which isn't great, but nice), but the ridiculous backing vocals and that woman, whoever she is, makes it sound like a fucking westlife song with guitars.
I really don't think I want to buy this album now. I'll download it, if it's good I'll buy it, and if not I'll delete it. I'm not going to waste my money like I did when I bought The System Has Failed on its release date. I have since listened to it about twice, maybe three times, before it almost put me in a coma.

I once had a dream that Megadeth played at my old school in the dinner hall, whilst everyone was having dinner. They played a few songs and then Dave came to sit down at our table. He was asking us lyrics for his new song, and for some reason, I just said lyrics from Rust In Peace. He said he loved them and wrote them all down. Then one of my mates who isn't even into metal got a Megadeth album signed.... Bizarre.
Then kicked my ass with his kung fu moves and started crying because someone was wearing a metallica shirt.
Ok that last bit's a lie.
