I don't believe this rumour at all. Well, the story will probably be used again in many films because it's a classic kind of story, but there's no point in actually remaking that particular film. The only reason they were good was Mr Miyagi, and no one ever in the world could ever replace Pat Morita!

Fucking hell, I just went on youtube and watched that for the first time ever. It was hilarious because of the South Park piss take mostly... but bloody hell, it didn't half terrify me. I hope I don't have nightmares.
