Armando Iannucci is a self proclaimed "Big nosed jock wop" who wrote alot of Patridge along with Steve Coogan, and has done various other things with Chris Morris and stuff, and he did Time Trumpet recently if you saw that.

He also did "The Armando Iannucci Shows" a while back, which truely are a work of genius. He does a regular column for the Observer, ruddy funny it is too. So basically, go and buy the Shows DVD. It's pretty cheap on amazon I think.

I saw some of Time trumpet was rather good, other bits were so so...

But seeing giant walking Tesco stores invading Denmark was great
