We all know thrash is crap, and we much prefer the lovelier bands. Well, I've ran out and need recommendations.
Bands along the lines of The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Beautiful South, Toto, Genesis, Jimmy Nail, Chris Rea, Vertical Horizon and the lighter side of Dream Theater all tickle my fancy.
Anybody know anyfinn decent?

Re: Lovely Songs
At the moment the ''lovely'' songs I've been listening to include:
Symphony X - Paradise Lost
Pink Floyd - Us and Them (Pretty much all of Dark Side of the Moon actually)
King Crimson - Epitaph
Dream Theater - Another Day
The Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Queensryche - Silent Lucidity
Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing
Plus a bunch of other stuff, I've been listening to alot of mellow stuff lately.
Mike Patton walked past me in the street once, I pretty much jizzed everywhere.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Re: Lovely Songs
Early Killing Joke, oh yes. Maybe try some Frank Turner. Jethro Tull is pretty nice. Thin Lizzy as someone wisely stated. Temple of the Dog. Husker Du's Candle Apple Grey. REM. Oh, Bob Dylan and chuck in some Nightwatchman too.
Lovely stuff... not my words, but the words of shakin stevens.

There's an unseen fortune under their belts

This horde of wealth is a sickening display"

Grand Funk Railroad and Grateful Dead two of the best bands ever
