Sabbat / Damnas @ The Camden Underworld, 21 Aug!

Postby zykloned on Mon Aug 02, 2010 8:27 pm

We're supporting THE Sabbat at The Camden Underworld on SATURDAY 21 AUGUST!

Last minute addition to the bill, I have no idea who else is playing, but we'll be on early (6.30pm - good thing it's a Saturday then!)

PM me to arrange tickets etc.

Imperial Vengeance and Cinders Fall apparently, whoever the fuck they are. Sabbat and Damnas is plenty for me, especially if it's a cheap one.

Cheaper than the 20 quid I payed for them supporting Arch Enemy that's now turned into just Arch Enemy.

I was already pissed off that I couldn't make this one, now there's another reason!
Have a good one, fantastic classic british thrash band to support. Shame youve
got to put up with that Imperial Vengeance bullshit though.

Sabbat were cracking last night in Glasgow. Martin made us aware that his voice was fucked after the first couple of songs but he still managed to soldier on through the whole set. He is blaming the fact that they are having to travel about in a transit van and they are not getting enough sleep. Not so easy when you are in your 40's.

I think Andy Sneap has killed the hearing in my right ear.

Haha pussy. Travelling in a van in England is nothing over on the mainland or America = suck

I drove from North Italy to Paris took 14hrs including piss breaks or the dreaded drive from San Francisco to LA that took close to 17hrs somehow.

Because you need your beauty sleep when you're being a roadie / merch guy right?

Faraz look at me do I need beauty sleep :) I just rest my awesome! Roadies/merch guys are the first to arrive and the last to leave always.

My point is a big band like that probably has a hotel in there rider/contract for the night and an early rise to get from A to B, whilst also being driven there.

Did you notice if they were letting the opening band use their backline? They're rubbish at communicating!!! Ha ha ha.
