Anthrax literally can fuck off now. The next album should be called "How to shit on your past glories"

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.
Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Come on!
Who didn't actually see this coming from the second the reunion with Joseph Bellardini was announced?
Sure, I didn't expect Corey Taylor but there was never going to be a new album with Joey.

Simple as that really.

They should have just settled for playing to 800 people a night with John Bush instead of compromising what little longevity they could generate by taking back Joseph Bellardini. I mean, Anthrax had finally released a fairly consistent album with John Bush at last and then to fuck it up doing a reunion tour is just nuts!
They should just pray for a miracle and hope that Steve Perry is up for joining.

"Big 4" to being a stinking pile of shit, with a splodge of cum on top.
*let's vioent internet warrior rage subside...*
Seeing as most people seem to cite The Sound of White Noise as the end of Anthrax, I'll start there...
It's a fecking classic. Not a filler in sight and had some of the most bruising tracks of their career. I want to tear people's brains out when I stick on Room For One More or Hy Pro Glo. Only was the closest you had to a mellow track. Black lodge may have been mainly clean guitars but it was darker than almost anything Anthrax had ever done. God bless Twin Peaks.
Stomp 442, admittedly, was a bit of a let down but it still had some fantastic songs on it. Random Acts of Senseless Violence and American Pompeii were the bollocks, but there were a few filler tracks starting to infiltrate their work. Songs like Bare, King Size and Drop the ball were not great.
Vol 8 was their career low but it still had Inside Out, Crush and Catharsis. However, I do kind of wish that they'd never released it. They don't sound happy or together and the album's so disjointed with rage-filled songs one moment and then happy little novelty tracks the next.
Considering their previous album was such a let down, We've Come For You All was an unbelievable return to form. Easily one of my favourite 'Thrax albums, I can't find a weak link on it anywhere.
If you're going to complain about the recent line-up changes, reunion etc then tough titties, basically. Every band has line-up problems at some point (look at Megadeth for the prime example, and more recently Exodus). So what if the reunion was motivated by money? I saw three of their reunion shows and every one of them was total value for money and some of the best shows I've seen in the last ten years.
So what if Corey Taylor is going to sing a few tracks and perform live with them? Listen to him sing (and he does have a bloody brilliant voice), and it's not too far removed from Bush anyway (ok, admittedly, that's a shit argument if you don't like John Bush to start with).
If they want to call it quits then that's fine. If they just want to carry on touring then that's fine by me too. If they want to record another album, then I trust them. I'm not going to stop believing in a band I've loved since 1984 just because of a few internal disputes and personnel changes.
Anthrax rule.
Not rule(d).
Rule.
Rant, well and truly over.
My fingers hurt.

One about him not doing it. It would have never worked with Corey at all.
