The cane is definitely not a good deterrent. I can just imagine a bunch of lads from Drumchapel booting seven shades out of a teacher if they were so much as threatened with a cane. Fuck it! If I had a son and corporal punishment were to be reinstated in schools, I'd actively encourage him to boot the shit out of a teacher if they were threatened with the cane.

Christ, if they brought the cane back, it'd be horrible bloody war in the classrooms. The teachers e'd just get knived by some big ugly chavs.

And therefore they need to update the form of punishment. Death by firing squad, or rape, for example. Then again, if you had a fit teacher rape wouln't be too much of a bad punishment. Gay rape, perhaps.
