As for the Maxim one, well that seems to be happening more often these days. I like this though:

Metal Hammer are the same. Anyone read this month's issue? They say that Evile are from Sunderland, despite the fact that they've printed Huddersfield next to their names plenty of times in the past. I know they're hardly the center of the universe, but any webpage about Evile will have Huddersfield written all over it. I've also noticed a handfull of other minor errors in MH. Yes, they're minor, but a professional journalist would make none of these errors, they'd actually go and look up the relavent information. Not to mention learn to spell.

I know not everyone's into Evile here, but at least read the first half of the article. Before it even gets to them, this is one of the best articles I've ever read about thrash metal.

You have to give them credit for ripping on Creed and Limp Bizkit though.

And I agree that Ozzy fucking sucks at singing. So does Lemmy, and Tom Araya a bit to but there is still some kind of charm that makes them appealing.

Ozzy's not the best singer in the world but they make it sound like he's a bag of shit, along with the rest of metal. "Heavy metal has never been about perfect pitch." Umm... Yes it has. Metal's all about perfection.

Well, they have tours with Megadeth and Exodus. And a song on a videogame. And endorsements from Jackson, Randall, Hartke and Moser. And they won Metal Hammer's battle of the bands. And they the guy that produced some of the best thrash albums of the 80s produce them, even though he turns down hudreds of metal bands every year, including Trivium at the height of their popularity, because he doesn't like the music any of them are making. But yeah, I guess they're losing.

Well, I've been dressed as a beer on TV. Then they decided to give me tickets to the Golden Gods. That was fun.

And in my experience, most people who complain about "sell outs" are jelous. I'd "sell out" if it meant I got to play guitar for money. Beats a day job.
