Re: Celebrity lookalikes
I thought it was quite good when I watched it. Mind you, I was utterly, utterly trollied at the time.

I quite enjoyed Alien 3. Was more of a return to form imo.
Aliens is a different breed of movie entirely so i don't even count them in the same crop.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Yeah, but Alien was just better. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a complete dolt.

It goes in order really. First best, fourth worst.

First; third; second; the one with the alien that HR Giger said 'literally looked like a turd'. The AVP films are just silly. Though I thought the concept of the new one was good. Are they making more?

Re: Celebrity lookalikes
The only good thing to come from the AVP films is that the super AVP box set thing has driven down the price of the Alien Quadrilogy. Shame everyone already has it. Still.

Re: Celebrity lookalikes
I would rank them: Alien and Aliens = joint 1st (the latter being an AMAZING sequel), Resurrection = 3rd, Alien 3 = 4th.

Pearlman is the only good thing about Resurrection.
I don't have the quadrilogy.

What?!
Resurrection is worse than... Morbid Saint. Honestly, it's worse than The Day After Tomorrow. Alien 3 is much better. With the cast they had, it'd have been hard to make anything that wasn't amazing.

Re: Celebrity lookalikes
The only real turd in Resurrection was the stupid looking Ripley offspring I thought, but overall I quite liked how she was part Alien and felt she belonged with them - a lot more subtle than the uber-shite Alien dog thing in 3. Also, back in the day I found Winona Ryder strangely alluring in Ressurection, in an odd cyber-lesbo-wimp looking sort of way.
