There should be a Metal Iain thread to check if he's still frequently browsing this forum without posing, erm I mean, *posting*.

I actually love Cinderella, and many other glam bands, so I don't know why I'm taking the piss.

Anyone remember Vein?! haha

Here's the deal people:

I'm assuming most of you have read my 'Going Away' thread. For those of you that haven't, I said that I wanted to stop bastardising this board with irrelevant crap because every thread I posted in turned into an Iain v.s UK Thrash thing. What you have to understand here is that I get bored very easily and am also an alcoholic. As a result I tend to sit in the dark drinking whilst posting shit on a multitude of forums and so forth.

However, and in contradiction with what most of you seem to think, I still genuinely love a certain number of Thrash bands and am also interested in how the UK Thrash scene develops. Hence, I do browse on this forum from time to time to check out what's going on with some bands but rarely post. I only posted yesterday because a mate told me about the limerick thread and I'm not going to sit back and watch as people call me a faggot.

Fuck that!

At the same time, there are a lot of people on here who will refuse to accept that a person can love bands like Kiss and WA.S.P. as much as he loves bands like Exodus and Vio-lence. Still, I was this kind of person myself about a year ago until I realised that Thrash really isn't the be all and end all of music.

And, for the record, I don't have any Cinderella on my PC, plenty of Ratt though...

Brilliant stuff. But he's got a point. Thrash isn't the be all and end all of music. For example, I like various Meat Loaf songs.
