and me youtube! sweet sweet youtube, dont know what i would do without youtube, 95.6% of everything i know about thrash comes from youtube and wikipedia

Well that is not impossible, you can get from Birmingham to London and back (and vice versa) for just over a tenner (with a Young Persons Card). I rehearsed with Deceptor up in Birmingham several times while living in London... but I suppose it would be hard to fund if you are still at college!
