I watched Order of the Phoenix tonight with my sister - it was rather slow to get going, even if there were plenty of eye-pleasing sets and scenes to take in. It did pick up later on though, and I thought it gripped someone who hasn't been following the plot in the books fairly well.
Overall a bit slow, but I do admire how many different ideas J K Rowling comes up with for every installment, and everything seems weaved together quite interestingly. It's just annoying that we have to wait so long, and see Voldemort nearly achieve something then vanish off somewhere so many times, before we finally discover some conclusion or point to it all.
A fuckload better than Die Hard 4 though.

I love the Harry Potter series. I dismissed it for years but then finally got into it about 4 or 5 years ago.
I can't wait to get the new book, pre-ordered it from Amazon a while ago but I'll be away when it comes out so won't actually get my copy till monday
I got into it so much I actually considered "Dementor" as a band name for a while when we were coming up with ideas, until I found there is already a band of that name
Although I wrote a song about the unforgivable curses, called "Fight The Curse" hehe. Also the lyrics to the chorus in our song "Fatal Judgement" are also based on the effects of a dementor attack haha

The one thing I would hope we all agree on though is that Lord of the Rings is better.
