Can't beat a stinking bishop (kinda ties up both off thread topics)
I have never actually tried that one. Been meaning to for a while.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Nice but very expensive. I used to deal with a cheese company when i had my butchers shop who had a list of over 1000 cheeses

Once ordered a stinking bishop wrapped in nettles for a customer, but never got to try it. Nice cheeses include
Roquefort
Dovedale blue
Shropshire blue
Sage derby
Saint agar

I was watching the streaming of the Slayer show this afternoon, and I'm pretty sure I saw you in the crowd with a laptop, typing away, whilst wearing an "I love Gerald Way" shirt and fiddling with little kids.

What a weekend. Ok, for die-hards who listen to absolutely nothing but thrash then, granted there wasn't an awful lot to choose from but for anyone with a slight diversity in their metallic taste, there was more than enough there to keep the interest up each day.
I was there for the opening time each day and only had one period of about two hours on the Saturday where I was short of bands to watch. So I just chilled with a beer in the VIP section and generally relaxed.
In the three days I was there, I think I saw around 26 bands, the only downside being the walking around and the overpriced food, but that's the same at any festival anywhere in this country.
I'm sure most (ok, some) people on here would have enjoyed:
Slayer
Iron Maiden
Suicidal Tendencies
Lamb of God
Dimmu Borgir
Shadows Fall
Sanctity
Porcupine Tree
Unearth
Devildriver
Plus Motley Crue were a total bloody revelation. Distinctly anti-thrash I know, but simply awesome. Besides, how can you criticise a band whose female fans can't keep their tops on for more than 2 seconds?

The first 2 motley crue albums are bloody good records, and have a very raw sound. Anyone who hasnt heard songs like bastard, live wire, looks that kill or shout at the devil really should do so!!!!
What were evanescance like??

I didn't watch them. Neither my mates nor I like them so we skipped out into the VIP area, had a few drinks, a bite to eat and relaxed before Maiden.
As for the other similar female fronted bands, Within Temptation only got to play 4 songs because of sound gremlins, but still managed to get the crowd going, and After Forever were fantastic.

Heh well i had fun.
There where some really good bands play, and some really shit bands but ah well that just ment i had more time to get wasted...
To anyone that slated it Ha! If you like sitting at home fiddling with your man clit while listening to badly recorded thrash acts on you tube then great.... But i think i'd preffer going to a festival myself....
Bloodstock is going to rule though
