The identity of the stig revealed!!

Well i always presumed that the stigs real identity was tiff needell, but it seems i was wrong!!!

go to the sideshow about a third of the way down the page below the picture of the stig.

shame, its some bloke ive never heard of, and i was hoping it would be a bit more interesting that this!!! :?

It hasn't really spoiled it tho has it.

Unless the Stig starts speaking the queens english and still wears the helmet and acts completely normal that's fine.

Apparenlty there are a few people used as Stig anyway.

The identity of the character, who test-drives cars around the Top Gear track, was divulged at the weekend as Ben Collins, a Bristol-based former American speedway driver and stuntman who doubled for Daniel Craig in the latest James Bond film.
