I agree with you on that actually - especially after the wonderfulness of Batman Begins, it was a shame that this film didn't really explore his character even further. Though saying that, I don't know what else they could've explored - it would've got a bit shit if he had just gone on about his parents, and, well... is there anything else to his character?

I hated Batman Begins. Fair enough, it was better than all the non-Keaton ones but I thought the whole Liam Neeson monk thing was ridiculous, even for a comic book. That's sort of my problem with Dark Shite as well: it's just too far fetched. That mobile phone sonar thing, for example.

Nah, I knew you could turn speakers into microphones but I think creating a digitalised, 3D map of an entire city out of that is pushing it.

I think burning half your face off, and being completely fine within ten minutes is also pushing. Oh yeah, and that fact he's a fucking BAT...MAN...

We're agreed it's a comic adaptation, and clearly not what can actually happen.

I don't agree to that. I think they should have just stuck with a more 1930s image and allowed the Joker to use a Tommy Gun.

The two new Batman films did so well in making a ridiculous story seem very realistic, I think they can be allowed to have a bit of non-realistic fun in them from time to time. It could've been much worse, it could've been Spider-man 3.

Or Deep Rising. All CG films are basically as despicable as Deep Rising, though.

Deep Rising as in on the boat with the squid monster?

That film was sexy hilarious.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...
