So it has happened yet again!! Another shooting at an american school campus!!! 31 at least are dead acording to the news a short while ago, including the gunman (who is believed to be a student, though yet to be confirmed). Yet the americans on the news sounded suprised!!! It is a fact, give most americans a gun, they will want to shoot someone!! Thats how they see their armed forces function, so why should they be any different!!!

Some chaps just been on the radio 2 news(can't beat a bit of Wogan in t'morning) and he points out "the thing all these college shootings have in common is that they take place on 'gun free' campuses,where people don't have the right to carry guns to defend themselves"

Right, turn the massacre into a shootout. Because Americans are famed for their responsible gun handling. If people around my Uni were allowed to carry guns, I'd never leave the room. Too many drunks, druggies and love-lorn nutjobs.

Yeah, i just heard some guy from the gun lobby saying that the students were at a disadvantage as they couldn't defend themselves!!! It seems he wasted his ex girlfriend, then walked 1/2 a mile to a classroom, lined em all up saying nothing and shot em all!! Yes, so maybe someone would have shot him before he shot them all, but history has shown that you cant trust an adult american with a gun, let alone arming the 26,000 teenagers that were on that campus!!! You'd have 33 deaths a week then!!! Be like a small queens, or bronx

I saw a clip of a CBS interview on BBC news 24, and the reporter was interviewing two guys who had escaped the room where most of the class had been shot. Some of the stuff this first guy was saying seemed pretty unlikely.

He said that a gunman walked in and started shooting at the class, so he turned a few tables over and everyone hid for cover. He said the gunmen continued firing for ONE AND A HALF MINUTES, yet 3 of them weren't hit at all. Hm. Then he said the gunmen went and him and 2 others tried to stop people dying or whatever, then the gunmen came back, but they barricaded the door so he couldn't get in. Yet the gunmen SHOT THROUGH THE DOOR, but again MISSED them all. He eventually left and the police came shortly after.

If thats true, its miraculous.
