[something like Endorama, st. anger, risk......etc]

who actually got those albums? is it really that bad? or overlooked?

I had Annihilator's Set the world on fire for very long time
got it very cheap form used store,
2in1 roadrunner reissue with the live in command 1988-90,
I thought it's a good deal

I finally get to listen to it today because of suddenly in need of some Annihilator
song after song,
this album keep on amaze me,
I'm speechless,
I didn't had so much pain since my mum keep playing/singing those overplayed Lady Gaga songs


not only talk about waste of talent
but lyrically embarrassing too
check out the first few lines
"You were the world to me, I thought that I would always be there for you
I was too blind to see, I would have clibed the highest mountain for you
You gave me something to hope for, you made me feel like new"

and the chorus of this song is EXACTLY what I want to say to Jeff Waters
"You're just a big disgrace
get out of my fuckin' face
You've got no fuckin' class
Reptile, you're a snake in the grass"


one of my friend used to tell me this album is good
and the song phoenix rising is great
holy fuck, I almost wanna delete his number from my contact list
it's one goddamn cheesy rotting ballad.....
I rather clean up my room than listen to this crap

SEPULTURA - rarely have my ears been so offended as when I heard the album 'Against', which I once rented from the town library as a naive neophyte. The sight of the cover art alone is still enough to bring bile to my gullet. 'Roots' is almost as despicable.

Also, Overkill totally nose-dived (from a debatable altitude) in the '90s.

You kidding? Set the World on Fire is my favourite Annihilator album I'm with James on this though, fuck Roots and everything 'Sepultura' churned out after it.

St. Anger can suck a dick too, worst album ever spewed forth by anything/anyone ever ever fucking ever.

why remaster perfectly quality sounding albums to sound worse than the originals...Dave Mustaine im looking in your direction!!

Rust in peace was almost completely fucking ruined by the remastering process I have to say. The new vocal tracks for Five Magics and Take No Prisoners are shit too.

I don't know exactly how the remastered version ruin those megadeth albums
my rust in peace is old press, and I never hear the remaster

so far so good, peace sells and countdown to extinction I got the remaster version but never hear the original

I have original combat press of killing is my business also the remaster version
I prefer the heavier sound of the remaster
but of course the censored these boots is bummer!

Set the world...was an album that grew on me loads, quite a progression and so unlike their earlier works.

Snake in the grass is a really special song, I like the way it starts so beautifully and then gets so angry.

BK, the Rust in Peace remaster pretty much ruined the feeling of the original mix - also, Dave lost the vocal tracks for Take No Prisoners and Five Magics so he re-recorded the vocals on them, and they're rubbish.

I can hear the difference
but it seems NOT as bad as you guys said
it's just Dave, He never really a good singer but I love his unique voice

[well, those NEW deep/low backing vocal near the end of the song do sounds worse]

It's rubbish. TNP was ruined if you ask me
