I had a bottle of Tizer today. It tasted funny. I wish drinks companies would stop tampering with flavours. Bastards

Do you not drink?
She says do I not drink!!!
Yeh he drinks.
This is a tricky one. I don't drink that often really, but if I'm out I will and having a few pints loosens me up real well, especially at gigs and such. It actually takes me quite a bit to get me wasted, which is not a boast, since it's just plain annoying. I also seem to suffer the next day quite a bit and don't much like drinking continous days... I just seem to always suffer afterwards, for example, if I'm sick, it'll be the next day.
I've seen the dark side of getting completely blottoed and it isn't nice. I also think alcoholism is very sad and sympathise with anyone who has to live with it.
Do you want a drink?
Vodka... pint of Vodka... Only Joking!
Ooh, thought I'd got myself an alchie there!

I know someone who is an alcoholic, and it is no laughing matter. And their other son's like that Dustin Hoffman from Rain Man, so not a happy home life...

I don't see how anyone can feel sorry for alcoholics. They drank so much they got addicted, and now can't stop. That's just fucking stupid!

I used to work in a place where there were a good few Alcoholics. Apparently if you admit to it then your workplace will let you away with murder (i.e. sick leave, turning up late, threatening other staff whilst drunk at work). Apparently eating Lockets covers the smell of the booze you know. If you eat a whole pack in half a day you will get the squits though

I kind of meant live with it as in, people who live with people who are affected by it. But I also see where you are coming from. Over in the distance.

And in what way does that explain why they drank a lot of in the first place?

If you're implying that they drank because of a wife dying or something equally tragic, that just makes them more pathetic.

No, I was talking about parents giving their children alcohol before they're even ten years old.
I don't get what you're on about calling alcoholics pathetic either. In my experience alcoholics are usually a lot more composed and emotionally stable than your average binge drinker.

Wow, they're as stable as another retard!
Fair play if they've been forced fed it as a child though. In my head I never pictured a scenario where parents would feed a child alcohol. Any parent retarded enough to do that would most likely be a alcojunkie, and wouldn't want to waste their booze.

My mate's mum is a community nurse or some shit and she was telling me that she visited a house and had to test a toddler's mental skills. She showed the kid a couple of cards with apples and cars and shit on them, then she showed her one of a bottle of milk and she shouts 'METHADONE!'. It's quite fucked up but that's Scotland for you.

Binge drinkers are hardly retards when you consider what constitutes a binge. I'd probably cross the binge threshold whilst eating a Sunday roast.

I don't really know someone who's an alcoholic, I was just quoting the Office again. Kind of fell on deaf ears this time. Thrashduck, I'm disappointed...
