Hey guys,

It is finally coming out!

As i promised a long time ago, and as wonderful people like Zurab have been reminding me, yes it has been delayed.

But here is the skinny:
60 page Black and White A5 zine. Released mid april. Printing quality is better then photocopy but (obviously) not better then Into the Zines digital job as that was just to expensive.

The zine is going to feature: Interviews, reviews, features and some other cool stuff which I will be announcing as we draw ever closer to the release date. For more info on the zine, I did like a Q&A type thing over at my blog where you can get more info! As well as more info on the bands.

Speaking of bands, UK THRASH LOT! Your chance is now! please PM me or message me in here, i have already picked a few for inclusion and have some special stuff planned with some, but if you are interested in being interviewed/featured then please contact me on here or message me at: fistfulofmetal@hotmail.co.uk

I'm glad something like this has finally come about. Despite the constant talk of a resurgance of thrash thats been banged on about for 2 or 3 years now, there is still not a direct market for us 00ber hi-top lovers. Despite maybe the odd article in the more mainstream magazines, there is no direct focus point on thrash in the UK. It's a shame considering we were looked down upon in the 80's, for 'apparantly' having some utter shite bands, but now that there is steady rise in the upbringing of readily accepted thrash bands in the uk today, lets push what we basically began to create in the first place!! There are pleanty of Thrashzines all over S. America and Europe, lets get the UK back to the forefront with some mighty frenzied fun!!

Fuck yeah! Wicked news Josh! Yeah this we really need something like this, it gives the scene more of a presence I think, rather than just a load of guys who go to gigs. Good work Josh! Are you looking for this to be a regular thing? I'm more than happy to help with anything if you need it.

Yea I am hoping it is going to be tri-monthly, so say this comes out start of May, I would expect the next one to be out in August/September.

That issue will expand considerably as well. I am hoping to get a 2nd issue out for Bloodstock if possible. This is why I need as much feedback as possible

Just curious - would some of you be interested in trying to sell some in your respective towns? Obviously I am based in Southampton so my ability to get rid of them in London etc is very limited, would any of you be interested in taking a batch and then trying to sell them at gigs and shit?

I would be happy to sell copies with my compalation tape when I release it. However I dont know when your 1st issue will be done.

Looking like starting the print process end of april i think. So i Imagine I will have most of it by start of may, aiming to get the first issue done before those Gama Bomb shows it possible.

Really depends on how quickly everything comes together in the end. Still trying to decide how many to print. Don't want to do too many and just have a stack of them...ALTHOUGH I don't want to not print enough
