Send More Paramedics Split

Postby thrashduck on Sat Jun 23, 2007 7:39 pm

Leeds, England-based crossover/thrash/zombie-core masters SEND MORE PARAMEDICS have split up after six years together. The band will play its final concert on October 27, 2007 at Joseph's Well in Leeds. "We will be honoring all the commitments we have made up to that date," the group said in a statement. "It's been six years but our zombie corpses are finally rotting to the point at which we can continue no more. A million thanks to you all."

--------

Was anyone into them? I like Zombies, but they had awful vocals and sounded like Avenged Sevenfold at times, at least on their newest album... Won't miss.

I really enjoyed them, especially live. a nice mic of Thrash and more modern sounding melodicish hardcore, good fun indeed. i'll miss em, but judging from the lable they have always been on they will turn into a couple of horrible emo bands.

I really like them, I was gutted when I saw about this the other day. I've only seen them live once, but I'll have to make the effort and get to a couple of their final shows! Fun stuff indeed

Liked a few of their tunes but never really got into them. Will of course, in time honoured tradition, now go out and get everything they did, realise too late that they were great and wish I'd got off my arse to go and see them.

Aye i mean their name alone makes them amazing, but i've had a listen to a few bits of theirs and it is pretty darn fun yo.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

It's pretty shite to be honest, buy the first 2 instead.

Sucks that they're splitting. I did see them about 8 times though, so I can hardly complain.
