I watched the first three so many times as a kid, definatly one of the best trilogies EVER! Though yeah, im rather looking forward to this, its up there with The Dark Knight and Cloverfield on the "want to see" list

I can't see how this film can be good.
I mean, Raiders of the Lost Ark is fucking amazing! But the second and third IJ films weren't up to much. I mean, why make a fourth film in a series in which only the first film was worth a mention? Jaws II, III and IV. The 3rd, 4th and 5th Planet of the Apes films.
Need I say more?

I love all of the first 3, they're childhood favourites, but films today are just fucking wank. They don't make them like they used to. It's gonna be full of shitty CGI which I can't fucking stand, plus, it's called "The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" or some bollocks... That just says it all. It's gonna be a fucking kids film.

I hope it'll be quite fun, but I'm not holding out much hope. The Dark Knight is what will blow everything away in 2008.

You can stick your Bonds and Dark Knights up your arse. Indy is the business.
I've lost track of the amount of times I've watched each film but I still went and bought the trilogy at Christmas, watched them over two nights and right now I'm foaming at the trousers in anticipation of the new one.

What I mean is, even though the first 3 are suited for kids, they still had violence and a bit of bad language... I can't see the new one being like that.

i reckon it's gonna be a VERY worthy addition to the series, it might not end up being 80's-ified enough for some nazis, but spielberg has never let me down.
apart from AI. and the lost world.
but thats still a 95% awesomeness record.
as soon as i saw the drew struzan poster i could tell its gonna be good, that IS an indiana jones poster. bang on. i can't fookin wait.

Spielberg is underrated by a lot of folk. Munich is ridiculous (in a good way). He's a bit shit at endings, but generally he's the best of the Hollywood terrors. Michael Bay being the worst.

........hook.
michael bay, well, the rock was ace, dumb, but ace. even in transformers which was GOOD, but still stuck in michael bay hell, you could tell the bits that were good were where spielberg had gone "no no no no no....... like THIS"
